Baros Residence is a palatial residence with luxurious furnishings, bespoke artworks. and a private pool in the garden courtyard. Butler service 24 hours a day ensures guests requirements are well catered to.
All villas feature modern day conveniences including complimentary wifi, Espresso machine, flat screen TV, Wine Chiller, Air Conditioning, Surround sound system and DVD/CD player.
Dining options at Baros include the signature Lighthouse Restaurant where the master chefs prepare superb cuisine served in an atmosphere of relaxed refinement & the resident Baros sommelier is ready to provide the perfect wine-pairing suggestions. Cayenne Grills offers a more intimate al fresco dining experience with a hint of island flavour in a thatched gazebo above the lagoon. Lime Restaurant offers a la carte dining in an atmosphere of informal sophistication, specialising in local dishes and fresh seafood. The Lighthouse Lounge is the perfect setting to sip champagne as the sun sets over the horizon.
Destination Dining is available anywhere on Baros on request. Whether an intimate overwater dinner for two on the purpose-built Piano Deck, or a barbecue on the beach, the dedicated Baros dining team can arrange it. A private dinner for two on a secluded sandbank is one of the most romantic experiences imaginable. The personalised menu is prepared and served by a private chef and waiter.
Baros diving is simply legendary – the highly regarded PADI Five Star Gold Palm Dive Centre offers small group sessions and one-one attention. A Marine Biologist is on-site available with expert advice. As well as diving, other exciting aquatic experiences can be arranged including day & night snorkelling on the resorts spectacular house reef, water skiing, transparent canoeing, wakeboarding, fun tube riding, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, boat trips to explore the rich culture of Male, or sunset cruising onboard private dhoni Nooma or from the resort’s luxury yacht Serenity.
Serenity Spa offers a selection of deeply soothing therapeutic and beautifying treatments in luxurious private suites. Guests may also partake in regular complimentary morning yoga classes on the Lighthouse deck and have access to the resort’s fitness centre.
On arrival at Velana International Airport guests are greeted with a Baros signature drink and escorted to the resort’s speedboat, reaching the island within 25 minutes of leaving the airport jetty.
Baros does not cater to children younger than 8 and maximum villa occupancy is 3 guests.

The Maldives enjoys consistently warm weather year round however the most popular time to travel is between November and April to avoid the monsoon season.
