With immediate access to coastal forests, reefs, waves, lagoons, islands, mangroves and beaches, Eratap Beach Resort provides the perfect natural environment in which to play. Activities include snorkelling, kayaking, surfing, fishing, guided walking & biking tours. Rates include use of motorised boats with driver, kayaks, snorkelling equipment, reef shoes and surfboards. Resort facilities include large resort pool, day spa, tennis court, gym, DVD library & wireless internet connection in restaurant area.
A wide range of activities are available outside of the resort on the island of Efate.
Set on Eratap beach with views out to the Big Island sits the resort’s restaurant. With lounge areas, bar, open verandah and terrace it is a great place to watch the day unfold or the sunset of an evening. Guests can enjoy a pre dinner drink, dine under the stars on the terrace or kick off their shoes and have a meal on the beach.
Eratap’s Chef creates a daily selection of local and international cuisine prepared using the freshest locally grown produce. Sample Vanuatu’s famous organic beef, fresh lobster or the superb flesh of the deep sea “poulet” fish. Enjoy organic fruit and vegetables grown in the red volcanic soil of Vanuatu. Select from a wide range of fine Australian, New Zealand and French wines or sample the island cocktails. For a more intimate occasion guests can enjoy dinner by candlelight on their villa deck or a beach side lounge pavilion.
Eratap’s kitchen opens at 7.00am and stays open all day till 10.00pm – so guests may dine when they feel inclined.
Access to Eratap is 20 minutes by road (road transfers included in rates) and scheduled transfers to Port Vila are offered daily.
Children aged over 7 are welcome at Eratap during family times which usually coincide with Australian school holiday periods in March/April, June/July, September/October and December/January. During family times complimentary kids activities are offered. Most activities require children to be agile enough to participate in local adventures – in and out of the water. The activities programme allows children to experience what local children do to entertain themselves. It also helps them interact with the local village and environment surrounding the resort.

Vanuatu does not have very predictable seasons due to the fact that it is very much a maritime climate. November to April are the hotter months and May to October the cooler months. February to April are the most humid, July and August the coolest and September to December the driest.
