Best Time to Travel

The island enjoys an ideal climate year round with winter temperatures averaging 25 degrees C from May to October and 31 degrees C from November to April. An increase in humidity between December and March brings a higher chance of rainfall.

The waters of tropical North Queensland are home to marine stingers and jellyfish with the high risk season running from October to May. Guests are provided with stinger suits to safely participate in water activities at this time of year.
