Pimalai Resort and Spa offers 121 rooms spread over 100 acres of tropical landscaped gardens overlooking the Andaman Sea.
Room categories include elegantly appointed Deluxe (48 sqm), Bayfront Deluxe (70 sqm), Pavillion Suite One Bedroom (110 sqm) and Pavillion Suite Twin Bedroom (160 sqm), as well as signature One, Two & Three Bedroom Hillside and Beachfront Villas ranging in size from 150 – 650 sqm.
Pimalai is situated on 900m of pristine sandy beach. Pimalai’s Beach hut offers complimentary kayaks, windsurfers, paddle boards, sailing boats, body boards, beach football, beach football and beach petanque.
For the energetic there is a well equipped Fitness Room and outdoor sports centre featuring muay thai, tennis, basketball and badminton. Other activities include diving, Thai cooking lessons, cycling, hiking & offshore excursions to a number of small islands that are part of the Mu Koh Lanta National Marina Park.
The resort also boasts 2 fresh water infinity pools with the most amazing views over the bay and an award winning luxury Spa located in a gorgeous natural setting.
Guests can enjoy genuine Southern Thai flavours at the Spice ’N Rice restaurant, or savour freshly caught seafood prepared in either traditional Thai or western styles at Rak Talay, the resort’s trendy beachside eatery and bar.
Seven Seas is Pimalai’s renowned award-winning restaurant situated 60 meters above sea level, granting breathtaking vistas of the bay and Andaman Sea featuring Western cuisine and a well-curated wine cellar.
From Krabi:
Pimalai offers complimentary roundtrip resort transfers from Krabi Airport. Guests transfer by road to Hua Hin Jetty where they take a ferry to Klong Mak Pier, and then a further transfer by road to Pimalai, total travel time is approximately 2-2.5 hours.
From Phuket:
Guests may transfer by road from Phuket Airport to Pimalai, total travel time is approximately 5 hours; or,
transfer from Phuket Airport to Rasada Pier, then take a speedboat from Rasada Pier to Saladan Pier on Koh Lanta, where Pimalai staff will collect them, total travel time is 4 hours.
Guests may also opt for a private transfer by van and boat from Phuket Airport to Pimalai’s beach (available from Nov – Apr only), total travel time is 3 hours.
Kids are welcome at Pimalai. Kids Corner is open daily from 10am – 5 pm (with a break for lunch) for children aged 4 years and above.
Children under 12 are not permitted to dine in the resort’s fine dining restaurant of an evening.
Babysitting requires 24 hour notice.
Pimalai offers a blend of luxury accommodation, lush tropical surroundings, and a serene private beach, perfect for guests seeking an idyllic island retreat.
Koh Lanta has 2 seasons – high season which is “hot & dry” from November to April, and the green season from May to October. The Andaman Sea is calm and safe to swim during the high season.
